May is Foster Care Awareness Month. 8Fifteen serves an often overlooked group within Foster Care - The young adults who are fostered or formerly fostered. We are passionate about building relationships and providing resources for these amazing young people. Would you consider partnering with us by sponsoring the program? May is National Foster Care Awareness Month. With 8Fifteen, we have the privilege of being part of the lives of fostered and formerly fostered young adults. Week after week, we are amazed at the resilience, beauty, and capability of these young people.

8Fifteen comes alongside of these young adults by building real relationships during the critical years of transition from foster care to adult life. Many children in foster care do not have the support system, relationships, or resources that we all depend on for successfully navigating early adulthood. 8Fifteen provides invaluable relationships through mentors and coaches. We also provide needed resources through the Gap Fund and Bi-weekly meetings.

We currently have 14 young adults and 22 coaches in the program. We need to expand our reach, but can only do that with the help of financial partners.

This month we are looking for 10 people who would partner with us in this work by pledging $25 a month. This will allow us to continue with those in the program and add some young people from the wait list.

A few of our awesome riders who took on the GAP trail to raise money for the GAP fund. 8fifteen's GAP fund helps fostered and formerly fostered young adults take on the many opportunities and challenges of transitioning into adult life.

The ride is over, but you can still donate to help us continue and expand the GAP Fund Program for these bright, ambitious young adults.
