This year, we celebrate 25 years of Akshaya Patra — 25 years of feeding hope, one meal at a time.

From a humble beginning serving 1,500 children in Bangalore to now nourishing over 2 million children across India every single school day, this journey has been fueled by one simple belief:

No child should be deprived of education because of hunger.

Every kitchen we’ve built, every meal served, and every smile shared is a reflection of what’s possible when compassion meets action.

To our donors, volunteers, partners, and communities — thank you. You’ve helped us turn a simple idea into one of the world’s largest school meal programs.

As we step into our next chapter, our mission continues:
