Hi - I have a request from the Pittsburgh office of the Bair Foundation - anyone want to help? Had a meeting with them recently to discuss how best to help some of the local foster kids who are having a tough time this summer and they sent me a list of the things most urgently needed. Primary items are summer clothing related (one boy has no shorts so he has had to wear jeans all summer, another plus size girl is being bullied because her clothing is too small, etc). Other items include diversity related books and figurines that showcase people with different ethnicities, family structures and abilities. These items will used as aids when the case workers meet and talk with the younger kids about issues they are facing. Items get shipped directly to the Bair office and I will post a follow up with pictures of items received. Any help is greatly appreciated.
