Apply for the Lifeline Grant and Help Keep Your Team Ready to Respond

The Lifeline Grant, supported jointly by Laerdal and the GMR Foundation for Research & Education, helps volunteer and under-resourced community responder organizations reduce the cost of maintaining life-saving BLS and ALS certifications. Through this annual $30,000 program, selected organizations receive funding for eligible online or blended-learning recertification courses, with 100% of eligible costs covered in year one and 50% covered in year two. The grant is designed to help agencies establish sustainable recertification programs while keeping responders trained, certified, and ready to serve their communities.

Today, NAEMSE’s Business and Membership Manager, Kayla, and Assistant Director, Jarred, had the pleasure of representing NAEMSE at the National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges (NN2) Conference!

Alongside NAEMSE faculty member and NN2 Board of Directors Treasurer, Dr. Christopher Metsgar, who presented at the conference, Kayla and Jarred had the opportunity to connect with attendees and meet NN2’s Board of Directors President-Elect, Dr. Lacie Couzin.

Capnography is one of the most valuable physiologic monitoring tools in EMS, but it’s often taught primarily as an airway confirmation device. This upcoming webinar will explore practical ways to elevate capnography throughout the EMS curriculum and help students understand its role in assessing and treating a wide range of patient presentations.

On this 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the National Association of EMS Educators pauses in solemn remembrance.
