Several children facing really tough medical challenges right now have open requests on our intake form… and they need costumes that give them courage.

These are costumes — confidence-boosting outfits they can step into and feel strong. We’re looking for people to hand-pick and purchase costumes for them. Some of the specific requests include unicorns 🦄, dinosaurs 🦖, superheroes 🦸 , and even an axolotl!

If you’ve ever wanted to make a kid feel powerful on a hard day, this is your moment.

This year, we’ve helped more children than ever before, but that growth has also increased the need. Our funding is tight right now, and the busy months ahead are some of the most important for our organization. That’s why this fundraiser means so much to us.

Not only is GLADS DELI hosting a hoagie sale to fundraise for us, but they are also allowing us to collect costume donations at both locations. Boxes will be placed this weekend. Please remember the costumes must be new. Thank you so much for your support!

October is our busiest month of the year… and since we’ve helped more kids then ever this year, we are in need of funding.

All year we send costumes to children facing difficult medical challenges — superheroes, princesses, and more who need a bit of magic and courage. These costumes are their armor. They’re a reminder that they are still kids, even when the world feels heavy.
This October, the need is higher than ever… and our funding is running low.
