Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Pittsburgh Tunnel to Towers 5K Walk/Run in Canonsburg, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our committee, sponsors, first responders, military members, volunteers, and participants who made the 2025 event such a tremendous success.
This year, we set records for both participation and fundraising. With 660 registered participants, 52 dedicated volunteers, and more than $100,000 raised (with donations still coming in), the outpouring of support was truly inspirational. Our event drew participants from seven counties across Southwestern Pennsylvania, demonstrating the deep commitment of our communities to honoring and supporting our first responders and military heroes.
It was a wonderful day filled with unity, remembrance, and generosity. Your efforts and enthusiasm made this achievement possible, and together, we showed what can be accomplished when a community comes together for a great cause.
We look forward to building on this momentum and growing our support even further in next year’s event. Thank you again for your dedication and contributions that make such a meaningful difference.

In 40 minutes, 700 runners and walkers will take to the streets of Canonsburg, after raising more than $100,000 for military members, first responders, and their families.

On Thursday, March 21, 2019, SFC William Lindsay was killed in action in Kunduz, Afghanistan. Will left behind his Sarah, and their four children. Read below, directly from Sarah, how Tunnel to Towers Foundation impacted her life.

"As a recipient of a mortgage-free home from Tunnel to Towers, I can share first hand what their generosity has meant to my family. In 2019, my husband SFC Will Lindsay was killed in Afghanistan. At the time, I was home with our four young daughters-ages seven, five, and one year old twins. The devastating loss we faced that day left our future uncertain, especially as I was a stay-at-home mom.

Tunnel to Towers stepped in and gave us the gift of security, ensuring that my girls and I could remain in our home. That stability allowed us the time and space we needed to begin healing together.

Today, we remain committed to supporting Tunnel to Towers, as they continue to bring hope and relief to families like ours."
