The Tunnel to Towers Pittsburgh 5K Run & Walk is an event that honors and supports first responders and military service members.

Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.

A successful Tunnel to Towers 5k Run & Walk Pittsburgh, PA is only possible because of incredible community partners like the Canon-McMillan School District

Year after year, they graciously open the doors to their incredible facilities, allowing us to transform Canon-McMillan Memorial Stadium into a place where thousands come together to honor our nation's heroes and support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

But their support goes far beyond providing a venue. On a Saturday morning, when they could be spending time with their own families, countless teachers, administrators, and staff members volunteer their time to help make this event run seamlessly. Their willingness to serve embodies the very spirit of this event, community, sacrifice, and selflessness.

To everyone at Canon-McMillan School District: thank you for believing in our mission and for continuing to stand beside us year after year. Your partnership makes a lasting impact, and we are truly grateful.
