The Open Door hosted it's annual golf outing at Moon Golf Club for the 3rd consecutive year on September 12th. We had 16 teams competing, 13 raffle baskets, skills competitions, and perfect weather. It seemed like everyone left a winner! We raised just over $6,000 and were able to reconnect with Open Door alumni, and make some new connections as well. We want to thank everyone who made this event possible, including our tee sponsors, the golfers, and everyone who donated a basket or volunteered their time to make this event a success! Your continued support enables us to make a difference in the lives of kids and families in and around Crafton Heights as we programming at no cost throughout the school year. Thanks again for helping make this all possible and we hope you'll stop by to see all the great things we have going on!

It's time for our After School program to begin, so we're looking for volunteers!
What we need:
- people to meet kids for "Open Rec" time, when they can play & get a snack before doing homework
- take kids to our classrooms at the church and help with homework
- when homework is done, enjoy other activities like card games, reading, etc.

All of our shifts and requirements are listed at Pittsburgh Cares, but you can also message us here to get started!

Our organization seeks to serve the kids of Crafton Heights and surrounding communities. One way to do that is by providing a safe space for completing homework! The "Homework Help" After School Program is open to kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We are looking for volunteers to be the "Help"...
