Our very own, Emily is out in Pittsburgh for Pride. We’ve been happy to partner with the organizers of Pittsburgh Pride as well as the folks at Trans Pride Pittsburgh for the last 5 years to help our friends put on great events.

This years PGH Pride saw over 300,000 attendees! Congrats to our friends for putting in another stellar event! It was hard work that paid off! 💜

To all the strong, brave, resilient women out there fighting the good fight every day, we see you and we champion you.

To those who feel weak, uncertain, afraid, unworthy, ugly, unseen, or just generally not enough of what you want to be, we see you. We're all in this together. You are loved and you are not going through this alone.

TONIGHT! The Transgender Show is back with author Sadie Fuqua in the guest chair!

Sadie has written five award-winning Young Adult novels, including "Darby" and "Gone and Back Again," three lauded adult novels, two award winning graphic novels, and five children’s books. She also illustrated three of those children’s books as well as multiple YA novels, a graphic novel, and architectural history books. She is currently writing a novel, spanning twenty-four years in the life of a character who transitions from male to female at a young age, something she wishes she could have done.

Tomorrow at 2pm EDT / 11am PDT I’ll be participating in a memorial fundraising stream in Kari-Aidyn’s honor. She was deadnamed and misgendered in her obituary and her grave marker. Her friends are planning a plaque that will proudly display HER name and pronouns.

Please join us as we remember her, look back on some of your favorites from her social media posts, and raise money to give her the remembrance she deserves.

Many of us found out for the first time this week that we lost a member of The Transverse family. Kari-Aidyn came to us as a fan of our programming and made her way into our hearts and into the organization.

She served as a mod for the Twitch channel and Discord server, brought in guests for The Transgender Show, and took on the huge task of learning the complex workings of Transverse News so she could take over production, essentially making the show possible.

We had some great chats and good laughs over the years. She was endlessly, kind, compassionate, patient, and always favored solutions over criticism.

We mourn the loss of our family member and I take comfort in knowing that her fight for respect and acceptance is over.

Rest now, love. You will live on in The Transverse.

In two weeks we kick off Ventura County’s first transgender pride event centered around Transgender Day of Visibility. The week-long celebration of the trans and gender non-conforming community features something for everyone: a fun night of drag bingo, trivia, and karaoke; an art show featuring trans artists, a family event with an Easter egg hunt for the kids; and a cocktail party at Paddy’s.

We are so amazed and in shock at the generosity of this community. The was a massive success together with the and an amazing team of streamers we raised over $12000 for Dr C's clinic.
