On Overdose Awareness Day, remembering my son, Philip, and Bethany, the daughter of my friend Eileen Granata.
They were both so much more than their struggles. Philip’s talent for photography, his wit and humor, and his big heart are deeply missed. We honor him through the Beyond The Lens Project, which supports adolescents in recovery through the arts.
Bethany is honored through Little Wings of Hope

Sharing their stories can help break the silence and stigma that often surround substance use disorders and overdose.
