Permaculture Institute of North America was one of our many wonderful booths/vendors and sponsors for the plant sale ~ THANK YOU ~ post coming soon we are compiling pictures!

Events like our local plant sale cannot happen without the combined VOLUNTEER efforts of many individuals. This community vibe and true care for fellow volunteers is part of what "people care" in permaculture is about. And adding native plants to your spaces is definitely "earth care". Also our volunteers seem to think new friends, food tables inside in the cold and fabulous T-shirts qualify for "fair share" so we're thinking some of you might be interested in registering for this free zoom event to learn more about permaculture and what PINA (pine-na like the pine tree ((Permaculture Institute of North America)) does.

*** If you're not a member you can join our chapter Wild Ones then volunteer to grow plants for next year's sale so we can put even more plants into the community ✨🌱🌳

Permaculture has never been just about gardens.

It’s about relationships.

Between people and land.
Between generations.
Between vision and action.

The next chapter of this movement will not be built by one person or one organization alone. It will take all of us.

Teachers.
Designers.
Farmers.
Students.
Builders.
Organizers.
Families.
Communities.

On June 9, PINA will be sharing a vision for where we believe permaculture can go next. We hope you’ll be part of it.

It was a beautiful day in the Western PA woods.

Thanks to all who came and shared their time and knowledge with us and our buddy Max!

We had a lovely meander over the rugged terrain... stopping every few steps as good plant people do to stare at every bloom, leaf and berry we saw 😜

McConnells Mill State Park is a true treasure and well worth the visit. This coming week is Moraine State Parks 56th birthday and a short detour if you are planning a day trip.

The butterfly trail McDaniel's Launch is a beautiful walk too πŸ¦‹
