Can I Donate Dresses? Yes! How do I get a dress? Do you have shoes?

We are currently accepting clean dresses in good condition between 3-5 years old. Dresses are available free of charge to any high school girl for Homecoming and Prom. Dates are set for September for Homecoming and March for Prom. Is there a cost for a dress? Dresses are free to any high school girl in need of a formal dress for either Homecoming or Prom. We have a limited selection of formal shoe

s, purses and jewelry as well as brand new makeup. We also take donations of the above. Shoes should be current styles, both flats and heels. Silver and black shoes and purses are the most popular. We can only accept brand new in the package makeup such as nail color, lip gloss and mascara. Where are you located? Currently, Hope Closet is located at St. John's Lutheran Church in Piqua. How do I make an appointment? Appointments are available to high school girls in September for homecoming and March for Prom. Please watch our page for more information. Can I volunteer? If you would like to volunteer to help with Hope Closet, please contact Kelly at Fletcher Church, 937.368.2470, M-F 9am to 12pm. We also offer community service hours for high school senior girls in need of community service hours.

Hope Closet is so excited to share that we were able to give away 50 dresses for the 2026 prom season! 💜 We hope each and every girl has a fun, safe, and unforgettable prom night!

We also want to give a huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers. Whether you helped one day or all four, you are so deeply appreciated—this wouldn’t be possible without you!

💜 We're not accepting donations right now as we focus on some exciting updates, including improving our office space. We will also be remodeling our accessory room through a recent grant.

💜 We plan to begin accepting donations again in September and would love for you to keep us in mind if you’re able to hold onto items until then.
