Mandy shared her inspiring journey from humble beginnings to achieving her lifelong dream of opening her own medical clinic in April 2025. Drawing from years of experience in healthcare, she spoke about her passion for serving others, providing compassionate care, and meeting patients where they are.

Her dedication to faith, family, and community service was evident as she discussed giving back through local sponsorships and supporting those in need.

Today, the Pineville Rotary Club was honored to welcome Barry McCain of the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office as our guest speaker.

Barry shared his inspiring journey from patrol deputy and SWAT team member to serving as a Resident Deputy, a role focused on building relationships, solving community problems, and helping citizens connect with the resources they need. His message centered on servant leadership, faith, family, and the importance of making a difference through simple acts of service.

From supporting local schools and senior citizens to mentoring youth and helping families navigate difficult situations, Barry reminded us that true leadership is about helping others and leaving our communities better than we found them.

Thank you, Barry, for your dedication to public safety, your commitment to our community, and your heart for serving others. We are grateful for your years of service and for sharing your story with us today.

Our Annual Rotary Golf Tournament was a huge success thanks to incredible weather, an amazing turnout, and a community that believes in service above self.

Every dollar raised helps us support clothes closets in seven local elementary schools, ensuring students have access to uniforms, warm clothing, and essentials throughout the year.

Our recent speaker, Brian Thompson, Thompson Law Firm, shared valuable insights on estate planning and why there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Using real-life examples, he explained how proper planning for traditional IRAs, trusts, Medicaid eligibility, and asset protection can help families minimize taxes, preserve wealth, and avoid costly mistakes.

He emphasized the importance of planning early rather than waiting until a crisis occurs, noting that a little preparation can make a significant difference for future generations. His message was simple: understand the rules, seek professional guidance, and create a plan that aligns with your family’s unique goals and circumstances.

Last week we welcomed Renee Roach, FNP who shared her passion for prevention‑focused healthcare and introduced us to Cenla Physicians Healthcare Clinic right here in Pineville. The clinic offers a wide range of services, all designed to keep our community healthier and reduce unnecessary hospital visits.

Renee spoke about her 18 years in healthcare, her journey through oncology and hospice, and even her own battle with melanoma. Her message was clear: prevention matters, whether it’s blood pressure checks, sunscreen, hydration, or simply listening to your body.

We’re grateful for the work she’s doing and excited to have her clinic serving the Pineville community.
