“I have been part of Open Door for many years and have had the privilege of seeing it go through many different phases. Through all of those changes, I have always believed in the heart of what Open Door stands for—creating a sense of belonging and connection in the community. Although Pine Grove is not my current home, it will always be my home town and I feel strongly connected to its mission. I believe every child, and every person, needs a place where they can belong, be seen, be heard, and feel valued for exactly who they are. That belief is why I want to continue being part of Open Door Project and help carry that heart and mission forward.” 🤍

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining the board of Open Door. Ann has a rare warmth about her. She’s the kind of person who shares her own life openly, and in doing so inspires others to be more accepting, kind, and compassionate - with themselves most of all. She makes you feel like you've found a kindred spirit.
That same spirit runs through everything Open Door does. It's a program run by women, for our community, that gives kids a place to feel connected and a sense of belonging. Open Door creates a space that teaches kids acceptance, self-care, kindness, and that they matter - lessons my own children have benefited from over the years. I'm honored to help support that mission and grateful for the chance to give back.” 🤍
