📢 DFS Needs Your Help! 📢

Dear Community Members, Parents, and Staff,

The DFS Committee is in need of additional volunteers. Without more members stepping forward, we may not be able to continue the important work we do for our students.

Each year, DFS provides scholarships to graduating seniors, helping ease the financial burden as they pursue their next chapter. These scholarships make a real difference, but they can only continue with the support and involvement of our community.

If we want to keep providing these opportunities to our students, we need more volunteers to join our committee. Whether you can contribute a little time or a lot, your help is valuable and appreciated.

Our students deserve the continued support of a community that believes in their future. Please consider getting involved and helping us ensure these scholarships remain available for years to come.

Meetings are held once monthly with fundraising events/opportunities throughout the school year.

🎓✨ Wednesday, June 3rd at 7pm in the JCB Auditorium, is DFS Scholarship Night, where we get to celebrate and reward many outstanding students for all their hard work and dedication.

A group photo of all our scholarship recipients will be taken immediately following the ceremony. 📸

Students and guests, please join us in the cafeteria afterward for some light refreshments to celebrate JCB's finest! 🍪

We can't wait to see you there to cheer on our amazing seniors! 👏🎉

​The application window for Phoenix Dollars for Scholars is officially open! This is a fantastic opportunity to secure funding for your next chapter, but you’ll need to act fast.

​📅 The Deadline- ​All applications must be submitted by March 13th. Please note: The application window will NOT be extended.

​💡Top Tips for Success- ​Apply Early: Don’t wait until the final weekend. Technical glitches happen, and a head start ensures you have time to troubleshoot.

📝 ​Request Recommendations NOW: If you need a letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor, please ask them today. Teachers receive many requests this time of year, and giving them ample notice is both helpful and respectful.

✅ ​Double Check: Ensure all sections of your profile are complete before hitting submit.

👥 🎓​ We want to see every one of our seniors take advantage of these awards. Let’s get those applications in!
