The VFW Post 5540 is still without power so we are still closed. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hopefully will be on by the morning for Sunday Funday with Jennifer Carroll !!! Stop by and see her. She will be open at Noon for football and drinks !!! Buckets of b**r 5 for $10.00

We have a nonprofit organization that donates to us every year around Memorial weekend different things that we can give out to help people. This year we are blessed with two wheelchairs and one scooter. The nonprofit is Mother Goose. You might’ve heard of them. I would like to give them a big thank you from VfW Post 5540 veterans and auxiliary for this donation. So far we are able to give Nico one of the wheelchairs which comes with a five-year warranty and we are also fortunate to give one of our veterans the scooter, Preston Bond, who is a new amputee from his leg to his knee now. This will help these two individuals every day in their daily life and make it easier. VFW Post 5540 veterans and auxiliary are so proud to just be part of this. That’s what we’re all about, giving back to our community and follow veterans and family.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the VFW Post # 5540 will be closing at 4 pm on Saturday 8/15 for a private party. Thank you for your understanding and will see you Sunday 8/16 around noon.

Just a reminder post that this weekend Saturday August 8 the VFW Post # 5540 we will be celebrating our very own Seabee Jerry Reynolds. Celebration of life start @ 2. Stop down and share your stories while having a bite to eat and a cold beverage. Everyone is welcome
