Rising Youth Theatre is a youth leadership organization that uses theatre to position young people in advocacy spaces. The company works with youth and professional adult artists to create multigenerational, socially relevant, original plays and processes, operating on a power-sharing, horizontal leadership model.

Our Summer Arts Camps are about more than the arts. At Rising Youth Theatre, we utilize art to teach students leadership skills and life skills catered to each individual students needs.

This summer, we have some new and exciting things planned for all of our campers. We are offering six sessions varying between one to two weeks!

Attending multiple sessions offers a chance to learn multiple art forms associated with creating a play (acting, writing, design, and production). If your camper is interested in a specific art form, you can choose to attend a session catered to your camper.

☀️ Looking to gain some teaching artist experience this summer? We have opportunities open to ages 13-15

✨ Our Junior Camp Apprentice program is built for 13-15 year olds who have aged out of summer camp, but aren’t quite ready for a full time job.

Through this program, Junior Camp Apprentices will receive valuable leadership experience for their future resume. They will learn the basics of being a teaching artist while having fun creating art and theatre!
