Investigation Update: Investigators are now calling a July 28th incident near 44th Street & Baseline Road a possible homicide.

Phoenix Police officers responding to a family fight initially detained a 36-year-old man in handcuffs. Officers now believe that same man is a homicide victim. Since the man was handcuffed during this incident, as part of our commitment to transparency, we are releasing the body-worn camera video showing the handcuffing and medical treatment before the man died. Homicide investigators have not yet made an arrest in this ongoing case.
