NO FEAR TODAY!!
"Fear is a distressing emotion caused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc. The definition goes on to say, "whether the threat is real or imagined." Whether we admit it or not, we all have experienced fear! This distressing emotion has invaded and arrested the lives of many, to the point of lives being diminished, and even shut down! Dreams and destinies are put on hold, and some are never accomplished because of this paralyzing emotion...Fear.
To overcome our fears, we only need to take them to our Father God, and place them in His care! I can picture piling them up in a big pile, right at His feet, and asking Him to destroy them all! Fears like BEING A FAILURE, MARITAL SUCCESS, FINANCIAL LOSS, REJECTION, FEAR FOR OUR CHILDREN, ILLNESS, ACCIDENTS, MINISTRY, AGING, DISEASE, AND EVEN DEATH are just a few things that are feared. BUT FEAR IS NOT OF GOD! He wants us to trust Him to help us in everything concerning and pertaining to our lives!
Is. 41:13 says, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." We must learn to rest in God's Powerful, Loving Arms! HE is our Protector! Our Father! Our God! He holds us dear to His Heart, in the Palm of His Hand! He will fight our battles of fear, and win with an Awesome VICTORY OF DELIVERANCE!
I saw this verse from an ancient Irish hymn called "Be Thou My Vision." It reminded me that God is stronger and mightier than any fear that may come upon us!! It says:
"Be Thou my breastplate, my sword for the fight
Be Thou my armor, and be Thou my might.
Thou my soul's shelter, and Thou my High Tower.
Raise thou me heavenward, O Power of my power."
REST IN HIM! NO MORE FEAR! IN THE NAME OF JESUS, FEAR IS DEFEATED!
