This little angel was discovered by community fridge volunteers stuck between the shelter and the refrigerator at the Audenried High School Community Fridge at 32nd and Tasker. He is an altered male, about 7 lbs, wearing a black and silver collar where the tag appears to have fallen off. No microchip. He is extremely friendly!!

Please DM us if you recognize him. He is being held in a home in Point Breeze.

Here’s to looking good in the neighborhood! We recently upgraded our fridges at the People’s Kitchen (9th and Ellsworth) and LUHV Vegan Bistro (19th and Ellsworth). We also have a new pantry at People’s Kitchen. They’re ready to be shopped and stocked with donations!

Thank you for supporting South Philadelphia Community Fridge and making it possible for us to replace equipment as needed. We appreciate funds we received from Rotary Club of Philadelphia, which purchased the new pantry.

See you on Ellsworth Street!

We run seven community fridges and pantries throughout South Philly. Food is free for all, 24/7. If you want to be part of some cool mutual aid, send us a DM or leave a comment. Volunteers help clean locations, shop for food, pick-up donations and more.

Our next virtual volunteer orientation will be 10-21 from 6:00pm - 7:00 pm.
