Thank you to the 9 volunteers who came out on a Sunday during Pflugerville HS graduation weekend to help care for one of Pflugerville’s most beloved spaces. Together, we collected 11 bags of trash in just over an hour.

One of the best parts? We actually had a hard time finding trash. That’s a huge testament to the Pflugerville community and the pride people take in caring for Lake Pflugerville every day.

We are so grateful for everyone who continues to show up, support our parks, and help keep Pflugerville beautiful. 🌿

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

Today we’re celebrating the ways our community shows up for the planet all year long. From trash cleanups and tree plantings to invasive species removal, every effort helps keep our parks healthy and thriving.

We couldn’t do any of this without our amazing volunteers, thank you for showing up, getting your hands dirty, and helping care for our parks and the planet!

What an incredible morning at Kelly Lane Park this past Saturday!

PfPF, Citizens Pforesters, Pflugerville Parks and Recreation, and 60+ amazing volunteers made a huge impact:
🌱 Planted 1,000 tree saplings
🌼 Spread 20 lbs of wildflower seeds
🗑️ Collected 12 bags of trash

This work would not have been possible without the energy of these following group of volunteers:
Girl Scouts Troop 234 & 244
Boy Scouts Troop 685
Boy Scouts Troop 508
Boy Scouts Troop 408
Cub Scouts 406
Falcon Pointe Flyers

It’s always inspiring to see our community come together to give back and invest in the future of Pflugerville’s parks. These small actions today will grow into something beautiful for years to come. 💚

Thank you to everyone who showed up, got their hands dirty, and made a difference!!

Join us tomorrow for a sapling planting at Kelly Lane Park. We will be doing this event rain or shine, unless there are thunderstorms or strong wind. Please wear closed-toed shoes and long pants. Can't wait to see you out there!

See you tomorrow with the Pflugerville Parks Foundation, members of the Citizen Pforesters and the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Department for a morning of giving back to our green spaces.🌿

We’ll be at Kelly Lane Park on Saturday, April 18 from 9 am to noon spreading wildflower seed and planting 1,000 tree saplings. It’s a great way to get outside, connect with others and make a lasting impact in the community. Please dress appropriately with long pants and closed-toe shoes!

This past Saturday, April 11, we teamed up with Keep Pflugerville Beautiful and Pflugerville Parks and Recreation for an Earth Day Trail Cleanup at Wilbarger Park 🌿

Despite a drizzly (but beautiful!) morning, 25 amazing volunteers showed up ready to make a difference. Together, we collected 49 bags of trash, an estimated 980 pounds, helping make Pflugerville even more beautiful.

Rain or shine, this community continues to show up for our parks, trails, and green spaces. Thank you to everyone who came out and gave their time to care for our environment 💚

Well Mother Nature wins again!

We’re postponing our community bike ride (again) due to wet trails and a flooded section along the route.

BUT, we’re still getting outside and doing some good!

Join us instead for a trash clean up with the City at Wilbarger Creek Park North tomorrow at 9am. Same great community, less chance of sliding into the creek. Hope to see you out there!
