At Great Lakes Waldorf Institute, our teacher education program is designed to help you grow as an educator while continuing to show up for the rest of your life. With virtual coursework during the school year, independent fieldwork, and an immersive summer intensive at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, you can pursue your training while continuing to work and meet your other commitments.

As autumn settles in, we’re invited to look more closely at the natural world and the rhythms that shape our lives.

Join artist and educator Adrienne Patrick for the next session of Art in Rhythm with Nature, a virtual weekend retreat exploring the connections between seasonal cycles, artistic practice, and our own ways of seeing and being.

Through observation, visual art, and artistic technique, we’ll explore the themes of transformation, relationship, and the changing gestures of the season.

Waldorf Teaching Opportunity: 2027/2028 School Year!

Madrona School is seeking an experienced, trained Waldorf teacher to join its faculty for the 2027–28 school year!

The school is open to placing the incoming teacher in either a combined 1st/2nd grade or 3rd/4th grade classroom, depending on the candidate’s experience and interests.
