🍷 OCTOBER BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT | 1949 WINEHOUSE & MORE 🍷

This month, the Zeta Rho Business Month Committee proudly shines our spotlight on Wilma Lewis-Marshall, owner of 1949 Winehouse & More, a Black woman-owned business located at 18 N. Sycamore St., Petersburg, VA 23803.

1949 Winehouse & More is definitely a grown folks fun spot with 21+ vibes, but it’s also so much MORE than a place to dine, sip, and socialize! 💚

Wilma has created a space that brings people together through Karaoke, R&B Bingo, Winning Women Wednesdays, Mental Health Check-Ins, and other engaging events. Even more importantly, she opens her doors to other entrepreneurs and professionals, giving them a space to showcase their gifts and businesses through cake decorating classes, charcuterie board classes, CPR classes, dance classes, and more.

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, reunion, enjoying a night out, attending a class, or supporting another local entrepreneur, 1949 Winehouse & More is helping create community right in the heart of Petersburg.

As members of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., the first Black Greek-lettered business sorority, we recognize and celebrate women who embody entrepreneurship, collaboration, service, and economic empowerment.

Wilma Lewis-Marshall, Zeta Rho salutes you! Your commitment to not only building your own business but creating room for others to grow is the true definition of a businesswoman propelled by ingenuity and intentional purpose.

We are on the GROW! Happy CHARTER DAY …4 years and this is just the beginning of greatness!

HAPPY 4TH CHARTER DAY TO THE ZETA RHO CHAPTER! 💚🤍

Four years ago, 9 amazing women came together with a vision, a purpose, and a commitment to do GREAT WORKS in Petersburg, Virginia, and the surrounding communities.

Over these four years, we’ve built relationships, served our communities, and continued to lay a foundation for generations of women to come.

Today, we honor our 9 Charter Members... Shantell J Chambliss. Bianca Dante , Sonja J Holt-Cartwright , LaTisha Washington , Marcy Thornhill, Mel Mel , Shay Simon , Dana Crocker-Farrar and Clarissa Savage who had the courage to plant the seeds, the women who have joined us along the journey, and the legacy we are STILL building together.

We didn’t just charter a chapter. We planted a LEGACY!

And four years later, we’re still growing, still serving, still standing on business, and still making our presence known!

Here’s to FOUR YEARS of purpose and many more years of making a difference!

Happy 4th Charter Day, Zeta Rho Chapter! 🎉
