This is a VERY special weekend because we're celebrating Lisa & Jackie's workiversaries 🥳🎊
These wonderful ladies joined our team in 2025, and we are so grateful to have them.

Jackie is the first person customers meet when they come into the store, and there is no one better for the role! She is friendly and welcoming and does a great job of keeping our sales floor organized. Jackie brightens our team and our store, and it's easy to see why she is so beloved by everyone at the Outpost.

Lisa helps us keep the store running! Though she is typically helping process donations, she is deeply loved by our customers, staff, and veterans. She is smart, funny, and creative, and has a great sense of humor, and we love having her on our team.

Congratulations on your one-year workiversaries, Jackie and Lisa! We are so lucky to have you at the Outpost! Help us celebrate these ladies in the comments below ⬇️

This week we were honored to witness Norman "Spike" Wilson, a member of the CHEP team, receive his quilt of valor.

Norman proudly served in Germany and Fort Benning from 1979 to 1984 as a cook. We are incredibly grateful for his service to our country and honored to have him as a part of our team. If you see Norman at the Outpost, make sure to thank him for his service and congratulate him on this award!

We are also incredibly grateful for organizations like the Quilt of Valor Foundation who are dedicated to honoring our veterans ❤️

We want to take a moment to thank our board member David Padilla and his family for volunteering with us at the CHEP Outpost on Saturday!

The Padillas helped us sort through donations and were able to create back to school boxes that they will be giving to other nonprofits and schools in need ❤️ It's always an encouragement to see members of our team and their families go above and beyond to support our mission.

David is also the owner of Two Maids of Belcamp. Two Maids is a Neighbors for Heroes Business Supporter and has done a wonderful job cleaning our veteran housing. Our Perry Point housing is getting some upgrades 🏠🧰

Thank you to Glass Doctor in Bel Air for installing our new windows and to Kaizen Painters for painting the houses- they did an amazing job! We'd also like to give a shout out to our very own Rich for installing new handrails! We love the opportunity to improve our veteran housing and create even better spaces for our veterans to stay as they regain stability.

This week, CHEP, Inc. celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of our corporate office located in Havre de Grace! It was an honor to be recognized by the Harford County Chamber of Commerce and to share this experience with Harford Family House!

We are grateful for all the support and hard work that has brought us to this moment. We'd like to thank our staff and board who came out to support us and to all of you who have partnered with CHEP through the years. We know this milestone will be one of many as we continue to work to help veterans in need until EVERY veteran finds stability, hope, and the opportunity to thrive!

Our Perry Point and South Carolina teams attended the Stand Down resource fair this week!

Our teams were able to share information about our veteran housing programs and other resources offered by CHEP. We also got to celebrate one of our SC veterans who was hired on the spot and got to ring the bell!

We appreciate the opportunity to share our mission and meet veterans in our community ❤️
