We match these pets with loving adopters. Through an agreement with the City of Perry, we accept all unclaimed cats and dogs for our community. We also accept surrenders and found animals from all surrounding communities and counties.

Are you looking for a pint-sized, long-bodied cuddle bug to add to your family? Say hello to handsome Toro! 🌟
Toro is a 5-year-old Dachshund mix — 25 lbs. of pure charm! He's a professional lap warmer, a dedicated squirrel-watcher, and a loyal best friend all rolled into one adorable package. 🐿️
This playful and spunky little guy will happily follow you from room to room, loves playing with toys, and goes absolutely wild for a bouncing ball. Toro is eager for attention and instantly likes everyone he meets — especially kids! Smart, curious, and ready to explore his own backyard, he may also do well with other gentle, playful dogs after an introduction.
He's currently working on potty training and may need some helpful reminders as he settles into his new home.
Toro requires a fenced yard and must live indoors. 🏡

Dewey is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu mix weighing 12 lbs. of pure sweetness. Fresh from his spa day at Perry Paw Spa, this little guy is looking his absolute best and ready to steal your heart! ✂️💅
Dewey is the definition of a "velcro dog" — his favorite place in the world is right by your side, whether you're watching TV or puttering around the house. He has a calm and gentle demeanor, but don't let that fool you — this silly little guy has a playful side too! He instantly likes everyone he meets and may do very well with another small, friendly dog or cat.
He's currently working on potty training and may need helpful reminders or a belly band as he settles into his new home.

Ella Mae is a 1-year-5-month-old Miniature Schnauzer weighing 16 lbs., with a silky silver and brilliant white coat and the most soulful eyes you've ever seen. Schnauzers are hypoallergenic with minimal shedding, and with regular grooming, this little girl will stay as gorgeous as she is today! ✂️
Ella Mae is a gentle, sweet soul who is a little timid at first but blossoms into the most loving, loyal companion once trust is established. She'll snuggle into your lap and follow you wherever you go! She does best in a quiet, patient home where she can build confidence and feel safe. She may also do well with another friendly, gentle dog to help her adjust.
She's housetrained, kennel trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. 🦮
