Suzanne's Comfort Care Home, Inc. The focus of Suzanne's Comfort Care Home, Inc. is to provide a safe, secure, and friendly environment during the final time for those terminally ill.

With the opening of Suzanne's Comfort Care Home, Inc. the local community members will have an alternative option for care during their final days of life. Comfort Care Homes are intended to provide a safe place for individuals who have a medical prognosis of three months or less, on average, of life to live, to spend their final days. The goal is not to cure or change the course of a terminal ill

ness but to provide anyone who enters dignified, compassionate, and gentle care during the last precious days of life. This is a NO cost opportunity for our community members to embrace. Our "Home" has max occupancy for 2 residents at a time on the main floor with upstairs bedrooms available for family members or friends who wish to stay close by at all times, provided all at no cost. Our extended family including volunteers and staff members are there to offer 24 hour comfort care to those in need and be a source of respite care for the families. The primary medical focus of our "Home" is to provide comfort care, symptom control, and pain management for our residents. Our guests coming into the "Home" will be guided by our Medical Director, Dr. Thomas Reagan, who will our on staff physician. This doctor and a nurse is readily available if necessary to discuss any changes in the resident's condition. In addition, the Wyoming County Hospice will provide comfort care medication and supplies to our "Home." Where would you like to spend your final days of life? Where would you feel the most comfortable and safe when you pass away? For most of us the answer to these questions is: "My Home" where we know and what we love. At Suzanne's Comfort Care Home we strive to ensure individuals are surrounded by supportive, caring, comforting helpers who will help ensure any final wishes are respected and honored to the best of their ability. We recognize that our guest are entrusting their lives to us and making sure they know what a gift that is for us to be a part of their lives, is a huge part of what drives our passion to help others!!

We'd like to thank everyone that donated such unique, usable, and beautiful treasures to our garage sales from May to September and all of you that stopped by to donate your money to take them. We had an exciting time meeting so many people and will resume again in the spring!
Thank you to the VERY hard working volunteers. Suzanne's is blessed to have so many wonderful people supporting us!
