Fall Campout weekend at Hawk Mountain was a huge success. Beautiful weather, raptor presentation, hike to the look out, archery, fishing, bonfire skits and good old fashioned playing in the woods. Childhood at its best.

Thank you Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation for a wonderful camping experience and for Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Association for the amazing raptor presentation!

The Perkasie Fire Company No. 1 hosted an amazing open house tonight, treating our pack to a tour of the fire truck, a lesson on how to use the equipment and how to practice fire safety. The fire house was bustling with hundreds of local families, and our scouts enjoyed being a part of it. Thank you to all the volunteers and public safety professionals who made tonight possible (and who help keep our community safe every day!).

We had a great time hosting our annual Open House this week. We celebrated America 250 with some fun on-theme activities and met some wonderful prospective families. We couldn't have done it without the leadership and help of the Boy Scouts in Troop 79 and Troop 1 (most of whom are our graduates!) Thank you to everyone who came for making it a great night.

A big thank you to MRC Signs for doing an awesome job outfitting our Pack trailer with the Pack 196 logo! The trailer looks fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with their work.

We’re grateful for MRC Signs’ generous support of Scouting and Pack 196. Thank you for helping our Pack roll into the new Scouting year in style! ⚜️🇺🇸

Pack 196 out today fundraising for the many fun activities we have planned together this year! Our Cub Scouts did a great job showing courtesy, kindness, and gratitude to all the generous people who bought popcorn and donated. We are blessed to be part of such a wonderful local community.

Thank you also to Fisher's Ace Hardware in Plumsteadville for supporting the Pack offering a great spot to our Cub Scouts to set up out front.

If you’re interested in Scouting stop by our open house event on Sept. 24 6:30pm at Presbyterian Church of Deep Run!

The scouts had a blast at the Iron Pigs game- parading around the field, celebrating an exciting win, and camping out with the other packs. A night to remember!
