🚴‍♀️ Cycle Into Spring was a HUGE success!☀️

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible:
🔧 Bushwhacker, Russell's Cycling & Fitness Center, and Three Sisters Park bike technicians for generously volunteering their time and expertise
👮‍♂️ Peoria Heights Police Department for assisting with bike registrations
🌮 Los Medranos Tacos for joining us and serving up some absolutely delicious tacos

Because of you, so many kids are riding into spring safer and more confident!

📅 Save the Date for 2027: Sunday, April 25th — we can’t wait to do it all again!

Peoria Heights families spent their Sunday getting ready for spring in a fun and hands-on way, all while learning how to stay safe on two wheels. Details in the comments.

Join us from 11AM to 2PM at Tower Park in Peoria Heights!

Come out for free bike helmets. Free bike raffles. Free bike tune ups from Bushwhacker, Russell's Cycling & Fitness Center and Three Sisters Park. Free bike registrations from Peoria Heights Police Department. An obstacle course. And so much more!

The only cost is optional, but don't miss a quality lunch from Los Medranos Tacos!

We would like to take a moment to recognize our club's president, Derek Oddo, who received the well deserving award "40 Under 40". This award recognizes 40 influential young leaders under the age of 40 who are making significant impacts in their respective industries. Derek is our current president and his dedication to our club is astounding. He is a integal part to our club's success for growth. He joined Kiwanis in his early 20s and initiated the Annie Jo Gordon School snack pack program which still sends over 200 bags of food home with students to ensure they have food over the weekend. Congratulations Derek!

The "40 Under 40" recognizes 40 influential young leaders under the age of 40 who are making significant impacts in their respective industries and that is exactly what Derek has done in the marketing department at Prairie Home Alliance. From our print advertising to revamping our 10 websites, Derek has made a lasting impact at the company that has set the tone for great things to happen in the years ahead!
