Our Book Sale is fast approaching! The official dates for 2026 are September 15-19. We will have a wide variety of books, dvds, cds and more! The 15th is member day. For all of those who would still like to sign up feel free to visit our website, stop by the reference desk at the library or even sign up in person at the sale. All of the proceeds go toward supporting our wonderful Penfield Public Library!

We're delighted to co-sponsor these adorable Summer Reading signs with the Friends of the Penfield Public Library Cheers to summer and reading!

Summer Reading is right around the corner with children's registration beginning this Monday, June 15...and we're trying something special this year.

Thanks to the Friends of the Penfield Public Library and the Penfield Public Library Foundation, Inc., these cute, cheery lawn signs are for any individual or family that participates in the Summer Reading Game at PPL, whether they're an adult, a teen, a tween, or one of our youngest patrons!

The signs will be available on a first-come-first-served basis at the Information Desk beginning June 15 while supplies last (one per family, please), so if your child registers for Summer Reading or you plan to fill out entry forms for the adult/teen reading games beginning on June 29, you're welcome to snag a lawn sign.

We can't wait to see who's reading with us this summer!☀😎📖 Stay tuned for more Summer Reading details.

Good news to share from our Town of Penfield, New York! 🌞🌳

🌎Happening this SATURDAY! Our annual Arbor Day Event and EV Show at the Penfield Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., hosted in partnership with the community group Color Penfield Green.

🌳The event includes a native tree giveaway beginning at 10 a.m. while supplies last.

Metal Artisan Bowl with Easel 💛✨🥣 : This large painted bowl is 18” in diameter and stands majestically on a sturdy easel. Although the artist is unknown, this beautiful piece would complement any room décor.

Serenading the Moon 🌙🎨🖼️: This lovely acrylic on canvas framed painting with bright colors and unique setting is by artist April Laragy Stein. It is 19”x19” and would look great on any wall in your home. The painting is wired and ready to hang.
