Final night of [Gainesville] Twilight camp brought the best of both worlds….classic campfire traditions and some modern‑day reptiles. This crew wrapped the week with stories, sparks, and a few scaly surprises.

There’s something special about watching kids learn through play….the focus during sling shots, the giggles in the obstacle course, the teamwork in nest‑building, the care in first‑aid practice.

Another bright evening at camp with archery, slip‑and‑slide fun, and a hike to close things out but the real twist came from the ice‑egg excavation. Warm sun, frozen mysteries… anyone else wondering what they uncovered?

Day 2 at [Gainesville] Twilight Camp and the sun finally decided to show up. Perfect timing, because it was Range Day and nothing pairs better with sunshine than BBs, smiles, a little dinosaur‑crafting chaos, and a hula hoop that somehow became the perfect knot‑tying partner.

This crew stays creative.

🌧️🦕 Rain may have changed our plans, but it didn't stop the adventure!

Day 1 of Gainesville Twilight Camp was a roaring success as our Scouts pivoted to stay under the craft shed at Scoutland on Lake Lanier and continued exploring the world of dinosaurs. From prehistoric discoveries and hands-on activities to learning about the creatures that once ruled the Earth, our campers proved that a little rain can't dampen Scout spirit.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and staff for adapting on the fly and keeping the excitement going.

We can't wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!

That’s a wrap on [Winder] Twilight Camp! The local fire station rolled in, the hoses opened up, and the field turned into the happiest slip‑and‑slide in Georgia. Scouts soaked, laughed, and sent camp out in style.
