THROWBACK THURSDAY 🦋

Back in August, the Payton Nash Foundation funded classroom projects through DonorsChoose for THREE incredible ESE classrooms in South Florida:

🎗️ Atlantic Montessori Charter School

Every sensory tool, every learning resource, every supply we helped provide went straight into the hands of educators supporting neurodivergent students every day.

Looking back on this one with a whole lot of pride — and we're just getting started this school year. 💛

☀️ Summer brings new opportunities for growth, exploration, and connection.

Did you know that outdoor activities can offer important benefits for many individuals with autism and other neurodivergent diagnoses?

Time spent outside can help:
🌴 Reduce stress and anxiety
🌊 Provide calming sensory experiences
🚶 Encourage movement and physical activity
☀️ Support overall mental and emotional well-being

Whether it's a walk on the beach, time at the park, swimming, or simply enjoying nature, small moments outdoors can make a big difference.

As we enjoy the South Florida sunshine, let's continue creating spaces where everyone feels welcome, supported, and included.

📚 Exciting things are on the horizon!

The Payton Nash Foundation is currently developing a scholarship program that will launch this fall, with scholarships expected to be awarded in the spring.

Our goal is to help create opportunities for individuals and families in the autism and neurodivergent community while continuing Payton's mission of inclusion, support, and empowerment.

We can't wait to share more details in the coming months. Stay tuned!

💙 Creating opportunities for connection, confidence, and celebration.

The Payton Nash Foundation recently made a donation to Supportive Engagement in Davie to help support future programming for neurodivergent teens and young adults.

While plans for a Neurodivergent Prom this year faced challenges, the vision remains strong—and we're proud to help ensure the event has the resources and planning time needed to make next year's celebration a success.

Every individual deserves opportunities to build friendships, create memories, and feel included.

We look forward to seeing how this program grows and finding additional ways to support the incredible work being done in our community.

Recently the Payton Nash Foundation was honored to attend the Dan Marino Foundation Annual Fundraiser at Runway 84 alongside so many passionate advocates for the special needs community.

Pictured with Dan Marino are CEO Mary Partin, Ryan Nash, and Brandi Nash. During the event, Ryan had the opportunity to speak and present a $20,000 donation to support the life-changing work being done through the Dan Marino Foundation. 🩷

We are proud to continue partnering with organizations that are creating opportunities, empowering individuals, and making a lasting impact for families in our community.

Back in April, The Payton Nash Foundation was proud to sponsor and participate in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk at NSU! 💜👟

This incredible event celebrates inclusion, friendship, and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities — values that are at the heart of everything we do at PNF.

Payton volunteered during event set-up alongside Team 13 from the Dan Marino Foundation and later walked with Gabriel, son of Best Buddies Walk Co-Chair Juliana Escobar. It was a beautiful day filled with community, connection, and support for a more inclusive world. 🌟

We are grateful to stand beside organizations like Best Buddies that continue creating meaningful friendships and empowering individuals of all abilities.
