Thursday morning’s harvest for the St Vincent’s Food Bank yielded 386 lbs of delicious produce!!
Grand total for the season is now up to 4,791 lbs donated to our local Food Banks.

Bravo all!! Many thanks to our garden staff and volunteers for their amazing efforts each harvest morning. 🙏🙌🙌🌶️🍅🍆🥒🫑🥕

The biggest harvest of the season!!
438 lbs of produce donated to the Presbyterian Church Foodbank this morning!! Woohoooooo!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
That brings the season total to 3,610 lbs.
Today’s included potatoes, a LOT of squash, tomatoes,carrots, rhubarb, peppers 🌶️ , eggplant 🍆 and cucumbers too!! Thanks gardeners. And always thanks to our hardworking staff and volunteers too!! We know our community appreciates our efforts. 🙏👏👏

What a wonderful Harvest Dinner we had this evening at the Payson Community Garden! A great gathering and celebration of our garden and gardeners! Thanks to all our hard working staff members for organizing this event. And thanks to Kenny Evans who heads up the Garden for his opening remarks and invocation.

Gardeners were asked to bring a dish to share and the recipe to share as well. So many just amazing savory and sweet dishes to try! So yummy! 😋 Thank you for all your hard work in the kitchen!
And why not start with dessert said a few folks! 😜

The table centerpiece baskets filled with garden goodies were raffled off to some lucky gardeners!

HARVEST DINNER!!

Hello Payson Community Gardeners!!

Just a quick reminder that our Harvest Dinner is tomorrow at the garden at 4 PM.

Even if you didn't sign up you are welcome to come. Please bring a dish to share hopefully using your garden produce! And the recipe also to share with your fellow gardeners.
