Good morning, just a reminder that you can order garden shirts at the shed through the first weekend in April. All shirts need to be preordered and prepaid.

Short sleeve shirts $10
Long sleeve shirts and sizes 2X and above $15

Color choices are with sign up sheets. Mens, womens, and unisex shirts available.

The website has a new look, with easy to use features. Please take a 👀 look!!

On the opening page, just above the picture on the right hand side is a menu bar with 5 tabs
Home, Events, Gardners, Adopt a Garden, Contact Us

The home page opens automatically, scroll down past the picture to see current information including classes and dates, if the garden is closed to weather, etc.
Current garden hours are also posted there.

The event page, list the events we are currently planning for the season and complete list of garden hours.

The gardeners page has links to archived, but relevant video classes and other information you might need.

The contact page is just a way to contact us that goes directly to the garden gmail account, however, at the bottom of each of the prior pages there is a contact form also.

The first two pages are the most used.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn especially if you’re a new gardener at the Payson Community Garden this season!!

GARDEN CLASS - PREPARING YOUR GARDEN FOR SPRING!

Good evening gardeners,

Glen McCombs, Owner of Plant Fair Nursery, is teaching a class on how to get your garden ready for spring planting. He is a wealth of knowledge regarding our garden.
It will be from 10am - 11am tomorrow/ Saturday - under the ramada at the garden. .

Please bring a quart jar so you can test your soil after he has taught you the process.

We will be accepting orders for garden T- shirts starting this Saturday.
All shirts must be preordered and prepaid.

We have male, female, and unisex shirts available.

Short sleeve S-XL $10
Long sleeve ALL SIZES $15
Sizes 2X and up $15

Order sheets and colors will be at the shed.

All orders must be in by April 11
We will have the completed shirts ready for pick up by May 1.

Monday, January 19, the garden will be open from 9:30-11am if you would like to water your garden.
Please bring your own water as the garden water is off for the winter!

Hello Payson Community gardeners!

One of our gardeners Linda who also volunteers at the harvest in season, was in a serious car accident just before Christmas and was hospitalized with extensive injuries. She will have to remain in the valley for an extended amount of time to heal and complete rehabilitation.

I have been asked, by a friend of hers, to post this information about a Go Fund Me page to care of her dog, here in Payson, until she can bring her down to Phoenix and care for the dog herself.

Please note, this is not a request from the garden, but from a concerned friend of the accident victim.

‼️GARDEN CLOSING & PLOT PAYMENT DATE‼️

Good morning gardeners!

Just a reminder that this Saturday, Dec. 13th is the last day of the season. We will reopen the first Saturday of March, 2026.

Please swing by on Saturday to ensure all garden debris has been removed and any fencing, tomato cages, etc., are securely fastened down so the wind doesn't blow them away this winter!!

Thank you for making this such a successful and fun gardening season.
Over 10,000 lbs of our fresh organic produce was donated to our local FoodBanks this year! Thank you all!!

We are looking forward to a wonderful 2026 season!

Thank you to everyone who has paid for their garden plots for 2026. The due date for payment is January 31st. Please pay by then to ensure you do not incur late fees.

Good afternoon, the water at the garden has been turned off for winter. If you have plants to water next Saturday , you will need to bring your own water from home.

Remember next Saturday , December 13th is our last day until the first Saturday of March 2026.
