The Ashley G. There were so many people who were tremendously supportive to Ashley and the Gaines family through her battle.

Charitable Foundation was established in 2008 with the goal of educating the public about symptoms, treatment, and care of children and teens with lymphoma, to fund research for treatment and to assist patients. Charitable Foundation was established in 2008 by the Gaines family after experiencing the devastating diagnosis, treatments, and numerous other battles fought by their daughter, Ashley, wh

o passed away on June 18, 2008 after her 14 month battle with Diffuse Large B Cell Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Many of those people continue to support the fight against this devastating disease. For those that did not know Ashley personally, your efforts and generosity will hopefully make a profound difference in the education, treatment, and care of children and teens with lymphoma. There is much research being conducted for therapies that utilize bone marrow, peripheral blood, or umbilical cord blood stem cells which can provide cures for cancer, blood disorders and immune disease that are thought to be lethal conditions. With continuing research, we believe we will find a cure for many lethal diseases.

This year we hit our highest number for blankets yet with 86! On December 22nd, we delivered blankets and Amazon gift cards to the Pediatric Oncology children at the MUSC Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston, SC. We had a lot of help this year making, washing, wrapping, and delivering blankets. We are so thankful for everyone who lovingly made blankets or a donation so we can keep this project going and hopefully bring some comfort to the kids that have to stay in the hospital around Christmas. ❤️

2. Order/buy material and send it to me, and we'll make it for you
3. Order/buy a blanket and send it to me to wash, tag, and wrap

Last year at Christmas, we delivered 70 blankets, gift cards, and stuffed animals to the pediatric oncology floor at MUSC! We try to make the holidays a little brighter for the kids who have to be in the hospital on or around Christmas.
Here's how you can help:
1. Make a blanket (fleece, crocheted, knitted, quilt, etc. - any type or size)
2. Order/buy material and send it to us, and we'll make it for you
3. Order/buy a blanket and send it to us to wash, tag, and wrap
4. If "Santa" uses a specific wrapping paper at your house each year and you need to get rid of it, we can definitely use it

We are making blankets for all of the patients on the Pediatric Oncology Floor at MUSC again this year... If you or anyone you know would like to make a blanket or a donation, please let me know! We only have a month to go!
