Update from Town of Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

We have had 4 days of closed roads at high tides, which were 2 feet above the forecast very high king tides. I have lost 5 plus feet of dune in front of my beach house. Beach erosion is significant. We'll have a better understanding in a couple of days.

Calling All …Island Fest fans!
We are already meeting about our 2016 fundraisers and wanted to get your comments/ideas on our festival location in Pawleys Island.
Front Lawn of Hampton Inn (Pawleys)?
Hammock Shops? Any other preference?
Comment with your preferred location and/or other site location.

Thank you to the Hammock Shops Village for being our great host and title sponsor for our 4th annual ISLAND FEST! We also appreciate the merchants staying open until 8 pm this past Thursday night. It was an awesome night and everyone enjoyed!
