At 17:25 Co.3, Co.4, and Co.6 were dispatched to a structure fire in the 200 block of Dungee Rd in Pamplin, VA. CO.2, who had a crew at their station, offered additional assistance by providing a tanker.
Engine 63 and Engine 3 were the first apparatus to arrive on scene at 17:42 and found the structure fully involved. Both engines deployed their crosslays and immediately began fire attack with incoming apparatus supplying water.
The fire was extinguished at 17:54 and the scene under control at 18:13. Crews remained on scene to complete overhaul operations and extinguish all remaining hot spots before clearing at 19:39.
Great teamwork by all departments involved!! The Red Cross is assisting the family affected.
