Now is the time to change the narrative of "homelessness", and it starts with the word itself. We are not homeless, we are disenfranchised people. I am an Internally Disenfranchised Person (IDP) I am not homeless, and every effort needs to be made to address the totality of what that actually means if this country is ever going to deal with the systematic and cultural causes that create such extreme destitution in such a rich country.
