Owego Kiwanis Aktion Club We meet on First Tuesdays of Each Month at 1:15PM-2:15PM at the Tioga County Boy's and Girl's Club on Erie Street in Owego, NY. Show up, join us!

This club is for adults ages 18 and older living with a disability.

Aktion Club where development has no disability.
Aktion Club is the only service club for adults with disabilities, with more than 7,200 members in over 400 clubs worldwide. Club members become competent, capable, caring leaders through the vehicle of service.

Owego Kiwanis Aktion Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Owego Boys and Girls Club on Erie Street from 1-230pm.
We accept new members at monthly meetings thru out the year. 18+ members usually come with a support person . Some members are able to attend on own.
Kathy Nichols Newell is the club advisor and attends regularly. Please check our next 3 events and come join us. Membership is $8 a year for all members. We have fundraised for this upcoming year. No money is needed. We keep a spare change jar on table at mtgs for snacks.

October: *mtg on 10/6 at Iron Kettle *noon-2pm.
*Different place/time

November: mtg on 11/3 at club, bring food item/s for Rural Ministry food donation 1-230pm.

December: mtg on *12/8 at club, bring children book/s for book mobile donation 1-230pm. *Note date.

Reminder: September mtg is this week at the Hickories. We will be thanking Brad for his great 2025-2026 year and welcoming our new officers and Incoming president Regan for 2026-2027.
Bring your own drinks as usual. Kathy bringing pizza, watermelon and cupcakes.
Please plan on noon-2.
Let me know if you'll be arriving late.

OWEGO KIWANIS ACTION CLUB AUGUST MEETING.
No mtg 8/4, we are mtging at fair next Tuesday 8/11, fair free day. Passing out freeze pops 1-3 pm.
Meet by shed office by bed store entrance on Elm Street.

Tuesday, July 7th is our monthly mtg at 1:15pm over at the Boy's and Girl's Club. We will plan a social for later this month, a picnic in August and a President Welcome and Thank You for September mtg.
Great attendance will be helpful so everyone gets to help plan.

Strawberry Festival. So exciting.
Owego Kiwanis Aktion Club will be in the parade Saturday morning. Meet in front of Coburn Free Library on Main Street by 9am Saturday morning. You may walk or ride. Parade starts at 930. See you there!
