This week's Mental Health Awareness Month theme is "Early Support Matters"

Young people thrive when support comes early. Encouraging open conversations about mental health can help children and teens feel supported in reaching out.

This month is all about Mental Health Awareness! 💚🧠 This week's theme is "Understanding Mental Illness"

Mental health and substance use can often go hand in hand. In fact, more than 1 in 4 adults with serious mental health conditions also experiences a substance use issue. These two are often part of the same story. Whole-person care addresses both. Learn more about co-occurring disorders at: https://www.samhsa.gov/co-occurring-disorders

Today is National Fentanyl Awareness

Think that pill is safe? Fake pills are putting young people at risk. DYK: 45% of teens don't know fentanyl is used to make counterfeit pills.

Many look like real medication but may contain fentanyl.

You can't see it, taste it, or smell it. Even one pill can be deadly.

This National Fentanyl Awareness Day, learn the risks and protect yourself and your friends: https://bit.ly/4mM1RHL

Thank you to Tioga County Sheriff's Office for partnering with us again for the DEA Drug Take Back Events this past Saturday! In addition to around 100 pounds of medication being collected during the event, we were also able to collect and fill 5 large boxes of sharps containers!

If you missed out on Saturday's event, but need to safely dispose of medication, please stop by one of the medication drop box locations around Tioga County (locations listed in the comments).
