🐾 FOSTERS NEEDED — and we’ve got some VERY cute new additions to the photos! 🐾

Our Aussie mix crew is looking for foster or foster-to-adopt homes! 😍 Mom is an Australian Shepherd, dad is a mystery, and the result is apparently one ridiculously adorable batch of puppies.

🚨 WAIT… DIDN’T WE JUST HAVE A TRANSPORT?! 🚨

Yes.
Yes, we did. 😂

Are we seriously doing ANOTHER ONE already?!

Also yes. 😬🐶🩵

Because apparently the dogs in Mississippi did not get the memo that we were supposed to have a minute to recover. 🤣

🚐 NEXT TRANSPORT: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13! 🚐

Another group of deserving dogs is getting ready to make the trip north — but as always, they can’t get on that transport without foster homes waiting for them.

Fostering means giving one dog a safe place to stay while Rescued Rascals handles the rest. We provide the supplies and cover their vetting. Foster families bring their foster pup to vet visits and adoption events. 🩵

🐾 Thinking about adopting? Foster-to-adopt is absolutely an option!

And yes… we KNOW September 13 feels ridiculously soon.

The dogs agree that we should do it anyway. 😂

🐾 Another Successful Week of Forever Homes! 🐾

So many great dogs. So many amazing families. And so many happy hearts. 🩵

We are incredibly grateful to each family who chose to rescue and adopt. Because of you, five dogs are officially in their forever homes this week! 🏡🐶

Our hearts are full knowing these pups are beginning the next chapter of their lives surrounded by love.

A very special thank you to our incredible foster families. You give these dogs so much more than a temporary home. You give them patience, love, guidance, and the opportunity to learn what it means to be part of a family. Your time and dedication make these happy endings possible. 🩵

🚨🚨 DESPERATE — VIOLET IS ON TRANSPORT AND HAS NOWHERE TO GO! 🚨🚨

Sweet Violet is already on her way to Illinois, but her foster unexpectedly became unable to take her. 💔

That means we need a foster home for Violet NOW. When transport arrives, this sweet girl needs somewhere to go. 🥺

Tomorrow is transport day, and we are especially grateful to be bringing this cutie to Illinois. 🙏🏼

Simon is a little 15 lb puppy whose life has already started out unfairly. Thank you to Melanie and family for volunteering to foster him! Simon is going to be in great hands and getting care he needs as soon as possible.

We are down to the wire! Our next group of deserving dogs is scheduled to head north THIS SUNDAY, but we still need foster homes to make sure everyone has a place to go. ❤️

🐾🩵 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🩵🐾

Today we’re celebrating the reason Rescued Rascals exists…the dogs! 🐶

The goofy ones.
The couch potatoes.
The zoomie experts.
The cuddle bugs.
The shy ones learning to trust.
The ones who think they’re lap dogs…no matter how big they are. 😂
And every single one who is waiting for their forever family. 🏡🩵

Every dog deserves to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, wanted, and HOME.

So today, give your dog an extra treat, an extra walk, an extra belly rub — and if you’re looking to add a four-legged family member, consider adopting or fostering a Rescued Rascal!

🐾 MEET HEIDI — NEW FOSTER HOME NEEDED! 🐾 or ADOPTED!

Heidi is a 4-year-old spayed German Shepherd who is looking for a new foster home where she can be her happy, playful self! Heidi has been waiting a very long time to find her forever home. She joined Rescued Rascals in October 2025 when her owner had to go into a nursing home. She has been patiently waiting to find her forever family.

💚 Heidi’s best features:
• High energy and LOVE, LOVE, LOVES being outside!
• Very playful and always ready for some fun
• House trained — no accidents and no garbage or food stealing!
• Crate trained, although she has recently learned how to bust out, so her foster family has been letting her enjoy free roam when home
• Does very well in the house and is a good girl when left out
• Good with people and kids — she has been around young children and loves getting pets
• Does well on walks with the right equipment and direction
• Very communicative — Heidi will happily let you know when she needs something! 😂

Heidi can be a little excited when people first arrive and may bark or jump, but she settles in and is completely fine with people. Her foster family has been working on her manners.

🐕 What about other dogs?
Heidi does not show aggression toward other dogs, but she is very playful, energetic and can be pushy. She can also get jealous and wants to be involved in everything! She does guard high-value chews and toys and may try to take them from another dog.

💦 A few Heidi quirks:
She drinks A LOT of water and can make quite the mess with it! Her foster family keeps towels down because she loves to track water around the kitchen. She also loves to communicate by whining — usually because she wants water, pets, to go outside, or (most often!) because she wants to GO PLAY!

Heidi is a fun, loving, active girl who would thrive with someone who enjoys an energetic dog and is willing to continue working with her on manners and socialization. 🥰

Heidi needs a foster home!
