This is FANTASTIC! Left (before) and Right (after). Trevor Bradshaw, Aubrey Avery and daughter Brooklyn Bradshaw transformed their home on W Mohawk St! They used Paint Oswego for custom colors and also redid their front porch. So welcoming! A great family to boot! Tammy Reitz has been a force of change in her W Schuyler & Ontario Street Renaissance Block for years! This year, she expanded her front garden, added tall planters, creating beauty for everyone to enjoy! See the start (inset) vs now! This project took a few summers to build to this point, but its been worth it!

We’re grateful for the continued support of Community Bank, N.A. in Oswego!

Angela Cleary, Branch & Community Development Manager, pictured at left, presented the Oswego Renaissance Association with a generous $5,000 sponsorship supporting our 2026 neighborhood revitalization efforts.

For six years, Community Bank has been a tremendous supporter of the ORA. Its representatives have taken the time to learn about our neighborhoods, understand the opportunities within them, and invest in the people working to make them stronger.

This year, residents on 15 sponsored blocks are coming together to improve their homes and neighborhoods. When you see houses being painted, porches being restored, landscaping being added, and neighbors working side by side, Community Bank is helping make that work possible.

House paint transformation! Even on this rainy day, our neighbor on the Oneida & 9th St Renaissance Block did this Oswego home wonders with Paint Oswego! The subtle beauty here is brought out. Look at the difference between the older black and white (small inset pic) and the new beautiful greens and trim color. This homestead is a little oasis!

Beautiful! Did you know Block Challenge Grants are also available to renters? Here, Kathy Tubbs (lower porch) and her neighbor Kathy (yes, a 2nd Kathy on upper porch!), decorate both porches with beautiful flowers and porch furniture! You can see this on the corner of W 4th & Mohawk! Their landlord, Atom & Falecia Avery, also financially support the ORA!
