Honoring Veterans with Dinner: Oswego Elks Lodge Hosts Veterans Day Fish Dinner

On November 7th, Oswego Elks Lodge #271 welcomed veterans and community members for a Veterans Day fish dinner. In a touching tribute to those who served, all veterans were treated to a complimentary meal—an expression of gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice.
The evening was enriched by a fascinating display of military memorabilia, generously shared by Fort Ontario and the Continental Army Organization. Guests had the chance to explore artifacts that brought history to life and deepened the spirit of remembrance.
Adding a sweet touch to the evening, the Elks Ladies Auxiliary hosted a bake sale table with homemade treats—an irresistible way to round out a delicious dinner.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the Oswego Elks volunteers who made this event possible. Your commitment to honoring our veterans and bringing the community together is truly appreciated.
