This past Saturday was our Back to School Summer Festival!
The Ossining Youth Bureau was able to welcome hundreds of Ossining residents with fresh meals and delicious desserts from local businesses, served by community members. Volunteers from community groups such as the Ossining Chamber of Commerce, Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Kindle Community, and more were able to assist all throughout the park with organization, sports, and equipment setup.
Organizations such as SUNY Westchester, Ossining NAACP, Smart Test Prep, and many more set up vendor tables to discuss community outreach and goals.
We give special thanks to our partners Star of Bethlehem, Kindle Community, and Gullotta House, as well as the many sponsors from the greater Ossining area for collaborating to make this community festival come to life!
Just as importantly, we could not have done it without the sponsorship and support of our Public Officials. A special thanks to Senator Pete Harckham, Assemblywoman Dana Levenburg, and Congressman Mike Lawler for stopping by and being a part of the fun!
