Same concept, new name! In Sprocket, 1 Point = 1 Volunteer Hour.

Volunteer Requirements
• 1 player = 15 points
• 2+ players = 21 points

HOW TO FIND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Option 1: Through Your Sprocket Account

1. Log in to Sprocket
2. Click the dropdown arrow in the upper-right corner
3. Select Household
4. Select Volunteering from the left-side menu
5. Click the orange Find Volunteer Tasks button
6. Find an open opportunity and click Sign Up on the left

Option 2: From the OMGHA Club Calendar

1. Scroll down to the Club Calendar
2. Look for Volunteer Events
3. 🟢 Green V = Volunteers Needed
4. ⚪ Gray V = Volunteer Spots Full
5. Click a green V to see available opportunities
6. Find an open time and click Sign Up

IMPORTANT: Please only claim the points your family needs. Sprocket currently cannot cap volunteer hours. Extra points do not roll over to next season and may be removed.

Travel Fall Camp families, check your email! Important updates have been sent, and your player’s camp group has now been assigned in your Sprocket account.

MOST IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Neck guards AND attached mouthguards are REQUIRED for Fall Camp, just as they are during the regular hockey season. Please make sure your player has both before hitting the ice!

OMGHA is looking for additional volunteers to help represent our association at local elementary school Back-to-School Nights on September 2 and 3.

These events are some of our most important recruitment opportunities, helping us introduce new families to hockey and grow our program. Volunteer hours available. Please sign up if you can assist and help us ensure a strong OMGHA presence in our schools and community.

🏒 HOCKEY DAY MINNESOTA 2028 IS COMING TO MAPLE GROVE! 🏒

OMGHA had the honor of being part of yesterday’s Hockey Day Minnesota 2028 logo reveal at Rush Creek Golf Club, alongside Experience Maple Grove, the City of Maple Grove, and so many incredible community partners!

The excitement was REAL! Kevin Gorg from the Minnesota Wild served as our emcee, and the amazing Kat Perkins performed the official Hockey Day Minnesota 2028 theme song! 🎶🏒 (heard in this video!)

We are incredibly excited for OMGHA to be part of this HUGE celebration of hockey right here in our community. We already cannot wait for Hockey Day Minnesota week in 2028!

This is just the beginning. More to come as we get closer to an unforgettable week of hockey in Maple Grove!

MITE 3v3 STARTS SOON!

It’s time to get back on the ice! Mite 3v3 is a fun, fast-paced way to shake off the summer rust and get ready for hockey season.

With smaller teams and 3-on-3 games, players get more puck touches, quicker decisions and LOTS of action!

🏒 Mite 1 through Supermite/U8
🏒 Players must have participated in the Winter 2025-26 season
🏒 Register based on your player’s regular winter level
🏒 Smaller rosters = more ice time and more touches!

Approved OMGHA coaches will help facilitate games, and parent volunteers will assist with the clock and border cleanup.

Rosters will be shared Thursday evening before the first weekend.

ALL TRAVEL PLAYERS: FALL CAMPS BEGIN SOON!

Have you registered yet?

OMGHA Fall Camp is exclusively for our boys and girls travel players and is the perfect way to kick off the 2026-2027 hockey season! Players will get back on the ice with age and ability-based, hockey-specific training led by our skills team.

FALL CAMP DETAILS:
• 10 one-hour sessions
• $225 for skaters
• Goalies are FREE!
• ALL registrations accepted, there is no cap!

Groups are being formed soon, so register ASAP!
