People in the Twin Cities and the state of Minnesota are still feeling the effects of Operation Metro Surge and we showed the world that we reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

Now, we are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest (though, please bring your best sign!). Instead, on October 17th, it's a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing Minnesotans together for music, speakers, family fun and voting information sharing.

As union workers it is our duty and right to stand up for democracy. Please look for Molly Diers who will have Local 13 flags outside of US Bank at the Legacy Gate. They will be there at 1:45pm and then we will walk over to the rally together. Bring your own signs and wear IATSE gear if you are able. Your friends and family are welcome to march with IATSE 13. All are welcome to join!

😲 For 45 years, people have walked past this massive Chicago building without ever seeing what is hiding inside.

It is the largest theater of its kind in North America, but the heavy doors have been locked tight since 1981.

This weekend, the padlocks are finally coming off. You can step right into the stunning 4,400-seat auditorium for free, but there is one strict rule you have to follow once you get in. 👇

Paramount is back in the theatre business. -- They're taking over the 5-screen Bay Theatre in Pacific Palisades. It had been operated by Netflix until the January 2025 Palisades fire and a lingering question was whether or not they would keep it.
