Big Stone Arts Council, in cooperation with the Ortonville School Foundation, is pleased to announce a new project designed to highlight humanities students for their excellence. We think it’s about time to give recognition to students in the arts such as band, choir, theater, speech, graphic arts and writing.

Here are the first three nominees in the series that will run through the end of the school year:

JOHN HOWDER brings strong skills in drawing, animation and graphic design combining his own personality and creativity to produce short animations that are truly incredible to watch.

ARCHER DORRY excels in theater, choir and band. Writing and speaking activities led to attendance at a Washington, D.C. journalism conference. He often has multiple roles on stage and in community music organizations.

DESTINY WARNER contributes enthusiasm and encourages participation in choir through an energetic presence that lifts the whole group.
