The Dobbins-Oregon House Improvement Foundation (DOHIF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation A 10,000 sq. ft.

Community Center building with a large main hall (240 capacity), stage, sound and video systems, commercial kitchen and smaller meeting rooms provides a venue that can be used for weddings and other large events as well as small community groups and club meetings and everything in between. The latest addition to the Community Center grounds is the "Floyd R. Douthit Memorial Park". The Park contains a regulation Little League ball field (also for softball), a tot-lot with play equipment, tables, BBQ-grills and a large groomed play area for children. The Park is fully handicapped accessible with a parking area and walkways leading to the picnic area and ball field. The Park was built with State Proposition 40 funds and is available to all on a first come first served basis providing the opportunity for various outdoor family activities as well as community events.

PSPS Precaution — Game Night Canceled October 16

Due to the possible Public Safety Power Shutoff in our area, we’re canceling tomorrow’s Game Night at the Alcouffe Center as a precaution.

We look forward to seeing you next Friday, October 23, for Game Night at 6 PM—and potentially Line Dancing — Beginners & Learners at 4:30 PM! Stay tuned for confirmation on Line Dancing.

📻 Something new is coming to the Alcouffe Center!

We’re excited to welcome the Yuba-Sutter Amateur Radio Club to Oregon House on Saturday, October 3, from 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Ever wondered what amateur (ham) radio is all about—or how radio operators can help keep communities connected when other forms of communication are unavailable? This is a great opportunity to stop by, meet local amateur radio operators, see their equipment in action, and learn about classes and amateur radio licensing.

Come out to Game Night at the Alcouffe Center! 🎲♠️

We always have a good time, and everyone is welcome! Game Night starts at 6:00 PM with D&D, board games, cards and plenty of visiting and laughter.

Not sure you want to play? Come check us out anyway! We even have people from the community who stop by just to see what we’re all about, watch a game and visit for a while.

We’re happy to have YFACA Seniors on the Go’s Foothills Computer Literacy Program using the Alcouffe Community Center for two upcoming smartphone classes that are open to everyone at every age!

The Alcouffe Center is happy to continue welcoming YFACA and Seniors on the Go for their monthly luncheons and community programs! 💚

Coming up Wednesday, October 7 from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM, Seniors on the Go will gather here at the Alcouffe Center for lunch and the next Foothills Computer Literacy presentation, Avoiding Scams & Theft.

There will also be produce available to take home, plus two Chromebooks and a printer available for public use.

We’re proud to provide a space where local organizations can bring people together, share resources, and offer programs that benefit our foothills community.
