The Dobbins-Oregon House Improvement Foundation (DOHIF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation A 10,000 sq. ft.

Community Center building with a large main hall (240 capacity), stage, sound and video systems, commercial kitchen and smaller meeting rooms provides a venue that can be used for weddings and other large events as well as small community groups and club meetings and everything in between. The latest addition to the Community Center grounds is the "Floyd R. Douthit Memorial Park". The Park contain

s a regulation Little League ball field (also for softball), a tot-lot with play equipment, tables, BBQ-grills and a large groomed play area for children. The Park is fully handicapped accessible with a parking area and walkways leading to the picnic area and ball field. The Park was built with State Proposition 40 funds and is available to all on a first come first served basis providing the opportunity for various outdoor family activities as well as community events.

The Alcouffe Gym is open to the community with equipment for strength, cardio, and fitness, and now includes Gentle Yoga classes every Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 AM.

Whether you’re looking to improve balance, build strength, or simply stay moving, we’d love to have you join us.

Join us Friday night for an evening of games, laughter, and community fun! Bring your favorite board game, card game, tabletop game, or just come ready to join a table and meet new people.

🎲 Game Night admission is $5 per person, with proceeds helping support the Alcouffe Center.

⚔️ Dungeon Master Shane Will will be on hand to guide adventures, welcome new players, and introduce people to the exciting world of Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop games.

🌞 Free Summer Meals for Kids & Teens! 🌞

MJUSD Nutrition Services will be providing summer meal distribution in our rural communities beginning June 9.

Registration is required. If your child will be participating, please use the QR code on the flyer to sign up. Some families have already registered, but there is still time to enroll.

Hello Community,

I wanted to give a huge shout-out to Brett, who has gone above and beyond since February volunteering at the Alcouffe Community Center. He genuinely enjoys volunteering here and has become an invaluable part of our team.

Between the on-and-off rain and the rapid spring growth, keeping up with the grounds has been a challenge, but Brett has been there time and again to help us get things back under control.

He has spent countless hours prepping and painting the Snack Shack, mowing, weed-whacking, and tackling projects throughout the property. Just this morning, at the crack of dawn, he finished weed-whacking the front area and around the entire rim at the base of the field, work that can only be done with a weed-whacker and a lot of determination.

Brett is dedicated to helping us finish the front grounds, picking up where another volunteer left off. His hard work is putting us in a great position as we prepare for our annual Fourth of July Community Celebration.

Thank you, Brett. I appreciate your time and effort immensely. You have truly been a lifesaver.

I also want to thank everyone who has given Brett work since he moved to the foothills. The support of our community helps make it possible for him to earn a living while still generously volunteering his time and energy at the Alcouffe Community Center.

And on a personal note, I’m looking forward to having Brett come tackle my blackberry bramble next weekend. In fact, I’m getting him a special blade just for the job!
