OG BLAZE went undefeated in pool play and in bracket play to be crown Tournament Champions with Fury (Banquete) being crowned runner-ups. We are proud of these girls they had some up and downs during the games but always seemed to find a way to get themselves out of jams to get the win. Thank You parents for making this possible and also all teams that participated in the tournament to make it another successful one.

After giving it some thought and having a conversion with the boys I think it’s time we continue to do what we started with them and pickup a team to start molding our future bulldogs athletes. These boys have dedicated themselves to this sport from the age of 7-8 year olds and now will be paying it forward to inspire and encourage the youth to have the same love and respect for the game they had at their age. We will continue the same structure we did at their age which is each player just pay for their jerseys/caps and split the entry fees during tournament play. I will mange the team the coaches will run the practices and games with guidance of me. If you’re interested in joining us we are looking for 12-13 kids who have the same love and passion for the game as they did and still do. This of course isn’t possible without the parent commitment to practice/ games and willingness to compete. The coaches will work on the fundamentals and game preparation so that kids have a High Baseball IQ and understand what to do in certain situations. We will be announcing tryouts dates and times soon so keep an eye out for the update. This team will be coach pitch but transitioning in to kid pitch. Come out and support an exciting weekend of youth softball, great competition, and community fun! This tournament is more than just softball — it’s a fundraiser to help our girls continue their journey to Regionals and the World Series. Every team entered, every gate admission, and every concession purchase helps support these athletes and their hard work throughout the season. ❤️🖤

We’d love for our community to come cheer on all these talented girls and help make this weekend special!

Announcement: (Orange Grove Pony League) Joins Babe Ruth League for the 2026 Season

We are pleased to announce that our baseball program will officially join the Babe Ruth League this year. As we transition into this new chapter, we will focus our efforts on two competitive divisions for the upcoming season: 14U (ages 13–14) and 18U (ages 16–18). We look forward to potentially expanding into younger age divisions in future seasons. However, Softball 🥎 will stay in Pony League.
Tryout Requirements:
• Rosters will be limited to 13–14 players per team.
• Selection is based strictly on tryout performance.
• Attendance Policy: Candidates must attend at least two (2) tryout dates to be eligible for selection.
• Commitment: Selected players are expected to fully commit to the team schedule, including all games, practices, and fundraising events.
Tryout Schedule & Details
14U Division (Ages 13–14)
• Dates: Feb 15, Feb 22, and March 1 (Sundays)
• Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Location: Orange Grove Pony Field | 200 CR-354, Orange Grove, TX
• Roster Announcement: Final rosters will be posted on our page on Thursday, March 5th.
18U Division (Ages 16–18)
• Dates: TBA (Due to the ongoing High School baseball season).
