Hearts Desire Animal Haven Hearts Desire Animal Haven is a veteran owned and operated, 501c, NO KILL NO CAGE haven for abandoned and abused dogs and cats. It was all worth it.

Hearts Desire Animal Haven came to be in January of 2015 when 4 puppies were needing to be rescued from certain death. Since then we have grown dramatically successfully overcoming many challenges that have come with not having a 501c tax status and being self-funded. At Hearts Desire we believe there is so much more to rescuing a dog than just providing food, shelter, vetting and medical care if

needed. This belief combined with our love of animals finalized our decision to become a No Cage No Kill rescue. The only time we use a kennel is when we feed or in situations such as recovery from alteration ect. We spend both one on one time as well as group time with each and every one of our rescues. With the use of doggy doors, we housebreak all of our rescue and we also work on basic command training. So when you adopt one of our rescues the transition is easier than what you would find with a dog that has been caged for an extended amount of time. Making the entire process less stressful for you as well as your new fur-baby. We expose all our rescues to various situations and other animals, such as cats, other dogs, chickens, horses and so on. Making it easier to place them in the perfect fur-ever home.
