The Friends of the Orange Beach Wildlife Center want to express gratitude to Melissa as she leaves the Center to explore other life opportunities. You can read the stats listed in this shared post. We have been so lucky to have her in charge of building the Orange Beach Wildlife Center program from the ground up to the amazing state of the art facility (run by talented, knowledgeable, dedicated wildlife biologists) it is today.

Melissa is innovative. Dedicated. An outside-the-box thinker who always does more with less. A strong mentor who built an internship program that offers young adults challenging, yet safe, opportunities to build knowledge and expertise in the wildlife rescue and rehab field.

We wish her the very best! We pledge to support her program and the Center employees and interns who will be carrying on the mission she started.
