It is with a sad heart that OWN Oracle will be closing down effective immediately. The challenge to recruit new volunteers since COVID has been an uphill struggle. Some board members have been serving for 10 years. The visitor center is closed, and the Oracle community center has agreed to maintain the existing webpage which was created by OWN’S Tourism Committee. This committee consisted of many of our business owners in Oracle and other volunteers, knowledgeable in graphics and developing a tourism plan for Oracle. It has been a wonderful opportunity to serve the community. The OWN board and many volunteers thank you, the County, State Tourism Office for your community support these many years. We accomplished many positive things for our wonderful rural community, Oracle.

Join us Tuesday, July 4th for a parade and celebration! There are still a couple days left to download your form at https://www.oraclecommunitycenter.org/july4th to participate in the parade. Email completed forms to [email protected].

The parade lineup starts at 8am at Saint Helens. The Oracle Fire District leads the parade at 9am to the Post Office. After the parade, join us at the OCC for kid's games, free bike raffles and food, and at 11:15am the Fire Department will open up the water lines to spray refreshing cool water for anyone who wants to enjoy!
